The best site to buy CS2 skins, based on real prices
"What's the best site to buy CS2 skins?" The honest answer: it depends on the skin. No site is the cheapest everywhere. But some are cheapest far more often than others, and that's what we measure, every 2 hours, across thousands of skins.
The short answer
Today, CSFloat shows the lowest total price on 29% of the skins we compare, ahead of CS.Money (24%). But buying at the lowest price on each skin saves 10.3% on median compared with the sites' median price: the real habit to build is comparing on every purchase.

Computed on October 27, 2026 across 16,379 skins listed on at least 3 sites: share of skins where the site shows the lowest total price (buyer fees included, paid with the site balance; card fees, not always published, aren't counted). Steam Market, Buff163 and YouPin898 excluded. Trustpilot ratings and fees checked on the date shown on each review. No site pays to be ranked.
The criteria that really matter
1. The total price, not the listed price
A listing's price isn't what you pay. Some sites add a buyer fee, others card payment fees. Our skin pages compare the total price, fees included, site by site.
2. How you pay
Card, bank transfer, PayPal, crypto: each site accepts different methods, with different fees. If you already have a balance on a site (after a sale, for example), you avoid payment fees.
3. Reputation
A low price is useless if the site is shady. Check its Trustpilot rating (we show it, with its date), how long it has been around and what buyers say. Each site has its own review page on our site, with its pros and cons.
4. Identity verification (KYC)
Most sites ask for an ID before you withdraw money, rarely to buy. That's normal on a serious site.
5. Choice
A site with many skins gives you more chances to find the right copy (good float, good pattern). The "Skins tracked" column shows how many skins we record a price for on each site.
What we never recommend
- Case-opening, roulette or betting sites: they're gambling, banned without a license in France. We don't list them.
- Sellers who ask you to leave the site (direct payment, "trust" trades): that's an open door to scams. See our scam guide.
FAQ
What is the cheapest site to buy CS2 skins?
No site is the cheapest on every skin. Today, CSFloat is cheapest on 29% of the skins we compare and CS.Money on 24%. The safest approach is to check the page of the skin you want: it ranks the sites from cheapest to most expensive, fees included.
Is the Steam Market a good place to buy?
It's the easiest, but rarely the cheapest: a skin costs 42% more on median there than on the cheapest marketplace (see our study). It's still useful to spend a Steam balance, which can't be withdrawn.
Are the links to the sites affiliate links?
Some are: they're labelled "Affiliate link" and earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you. They never change the ranking, which depends only on prices. Details are on the How we make money page.
